Gabardines Pantalons is an independent French brand dedicated exclusively to men's trousers. It was founded by Matteo Agostoni after more than a decade in retail and visual merchandising, with the aim of combining Italian tailoring craftsmanship with a clean, wearable French style.

The collection is anchored by cotton trousers inspired by classic sartorial cuts. The brand utilizes features such as higher waists, pleats, side adjusters, and balanced proportions to create an elegant silhouette that avoids excessive formality. The result is a pair of trousers that pairs perfectly not only with a blazer and shirt but also with a knitted polo, knitwear, or casual footwear.

The entire production process takes place in Italy. Fabrics are sourced from suppliers in the Biella region, while cutting and sewing are carried out in a family-run workshop near Naples. This short supply chain allows the brand to oversee both the origin of materials and the quality of craftsmanship for every model.

In my view, the greatest strength of Gabardines Pantalons is its clear focus. Rather than attempting to create an entire wardrobe, the brand concentrates on a single category, paying attention to details often missing from standard cotton trousers.
