Sewing brace buttons onto trousers is an additional tailoring service for classic trousers intended to be worn with traditional button-on braces. A total of six buttons are sewn inside the waistband — two at the back and four at the front — allowing the braces to hold correctly while preserving the clean, elegant appearance of the trousers without the need for a belt.

Braces are a traditional and highly functional way to wear classic trousers. They help keep the trousers at the correct height, avoid breaking the waistline in the way a belt can, and work especially well with higher-waisted trousers, suit trousers and more formal tailoring.
The buttons are sewn inside the waistband. At the front, there are two pairs of buttons; at the back, one pair. The spacing between the buttons in each pair is approximately 6 cm, which corresponds to the standard attachment for traditional button-on braces.
